Traveling through the North America and Europe gives Ray a deeper understanding of outdoor space, neighborhoods and the relationship to human life. Knowing why a certain place works, what makes a neighborhood safe or just plain fun to live in takes a keen eye for detail and a broad understanding of what works and why. Great neighborhoods are often organic in their origin but a great neighborhood can be created by replicating the basic elements found in great communities.

Entitlement
Understanding the inter-workings of government is more than a challenge. It takes inside knowledge of why and how government operates in order to understand how to get things done, how to obtain approval and to speed things up. Thirty three years in the public sector as a City Planner yields a varied and deep understanding of development. Writing a wide variety of development ordinance provides a deeper insight of what it takes to get approval.
